At Whitgreave, we utilise lots of school trips and special visitors in school, to engage our pupils in learning and to enhance the curriculum. Our pupils benefit greatly from visiting places such as The West End, The Pioneer Residential Centre and also the National Space Centre, to name but a few. In terms of visitors into school, we have enjoyed the company of a Stone Age Man, an Author and various Dance Workshops, amongst other visitors.
We also utilise trips as rewards for attendance, exemplary behaviour and for pupils who carry out additional responsibilities within school. For example, our termly Class Attendance Winners attend Hollywood Bowl to enjoy a spot of bowling and team games.
